Well, we have just been burdened with another tax. Man made global warming is a myth, started by the cretins that invent new ways of ripping us off and totally unsupported by science. In fact, the science is so bad and discredited that it could be termed pseudo science. I am amazed that we once again we are being duped and not one person says anything!

Where are your cojones people? We should be stopping this madness, not letting it happen without so much as a whimper.

The cost to us individually has been placed at $26 weekly! What for? Because carbon dioxide is now classed as a pollutant, but it is the molecule of life, as necessary as oxygen, and a vital nutrient for plants.

The whole farce has been promoted by political interests. For instance, that political hack Al Gore, who made that movie full of lies and total fabrications about global meltdown, he is the chief holder of shares in companies that are dividing up the tax taken from the public. His companies will be in the forefront of buying and selling carbon credits around the world! Hows that for lining your own nest with others money. What a lying piece of turd he is.

And now our government has fallen for the BS, what a bunch of cretins.

IT really makes me angry that these AH's get to do this sort of thing without the slightest show of defiance from Joe Citizen. Not that our lack of support for such a dumb idea would make any difference anyway! They'd ram it down our throats anyway, but we shouldn't just sit back and do nothing.

The worst thing about the whole sorry business is that it won't make any difference to the climate anyway, even if CO2 was the main greenhouse gas, which it isn't. CO2 accounts for only six percent at most of the greenhouse effect, the main greenhouse gas being water vapour (90% of total effect. What are they going to do, make us pay a tax for breathing? Ban water? Clowns.

I listened to the guy from Greenpiece this morning Kragus. He estimated $30 a week, and $60 a week by the year 2020.
When asked by the interviewer "what about countries like China and India who defy the law on pollution?" he was told that Western countries are contributing more than these countries are.
It then showed some cars emitting exhaust fumes. I thought they had played around with fuels to eliminate this problem.

We are having to use inferior coal which has little heat, to make us give up our fuel burning heating system, to keep the air clean. Somebody must have shares in heat pumps. I don't like hot air fan heating myself.

I was profoundly irritated by the news programme that we are going to have to pay so much per person ....for what and why us,and who do we pay it to ?

It seems as if the powers will have another go at farmers' taxes,but farmers on the whole are pretty clued up..For instance,my daughters farm produces 18 tons of dry matter per year,and the farm milks 700 cows,so they are carbon neutral,but try explaining to a parliamentarian who hasn't a CLUE !!

Al Gore left politics with a bank balance of approx $2m. It now stands at several HUNDRED million. All from this con job.

CO2 is essential for ALL growing things. Some glasshouses actually have CO2 pumped into them to help promote growth.

The guys who first promoted Kyoto are all doing jail time for fraud, and our politicians are falling for it still.

The planet is actually going through a cooling off period not a warming one.

Actually, JK has been very clever about this. He says that unless the others (India, China, USA) all sign up at the conference in December, we won't go ahead with it. And India and China have already come out and said they won't sign up. So there is light at the end of the tunnel and it's not just the train coming. (I hope)
Global warming is not about climate or such like. It is purely MONEY, MONEY, MONEY.

Well said OKK, I am warmed by the amount of awareness for this tripe called 'Global Warming". The only way it will warm the atmosphere is from all the hot air BS that gets shoved up us!!!

Kragus, another thing that puzzles me is how CO2 goes UPWARDS into the atmosphere as when I was at school, CO2 was heavier than air.

I sometimes feel like a bear-of-very-little-brain,Kragus,as the amount of information is so much to absorb.But in saying that,often thought processes begin with thinking "Hey-something strange is going on here !"
Having the courage to stand up and be counted costs.It happens that the crowd who agree with you will quietly melt away when the crunch time comes,but you do it anyway because it matters to your very soul.

The Met Service said the other week we are having a mini ice-age, hence the cold winter. Will continue being cold until October.

Discovery had these guys building a huge,huge blanket,to cover one of Canadas Glaciers.Hoping they will be able to stop the Glacier from melting.As it is the Glacier and Land locked Ice that will cause the worlds Flooding.And sea levels to rise.Hell,with all the money spent on global warming,where will the benifits to us be shown.Never.Mother Nature will do what Mother Nature does best.And thats mind her own business,and man should do the same.Thats me grizzle for the day.
