A question please. Do you know anything about Lime trees? I am clearing an area and thought a Lime or a Lemon would be good. I had heard Limes take a long time to grow. Any help would be appreciated.

megeebee we have a five year old lime tree and would say they fruit just as early as a lemon. the first year take all fruit off just as you do for a lemon, we now get up to 30kgs of fruit a year, best of luck

Hi!
Our Tamarillo trees are pruducing some of their fruit with hard spots - stones - that appear in the skin and sometimes go in as far as the seeds in the centre. They are not nice to eat, I cut them out when I have peeled the fruit. Only some of the fruit have these growths, and we have not been able to determine which trees are the culprits, some are OK, although I think there are a few fruit on more than one tree. Does anyone know what is the cause? Perhaps a lack of something? Or too much of something else!
