wooden spoons
I brought them
with me
from foreign shores
one used by a friend
and her mother before
her
one my mum used
and one from
my grandmama
when I cook
i use the wooden
spoons
to stir
love and hope
into
all I make
just like they did
before
me
June 2009 - on my eighth anniversary - move to NZ
