Hi, I have just realised that there is a section on motorcycling. I had a 125 UZ Suzuki which I sold about a year ago. It pulled my 95kg's along no problem. The biggest hassle with it was the cheap budget suspension. I still think the suspension ( or lack of ) was a prime reason for a torn lumber disc at that time.
I did a few local rides on it and had no problems powerwise.
I have a elderly lady friend here in Te Awamutu who had four scooters at the time. A 50, a 125, a 150 Dylan and a 250 Bourgman. I did more k's on the two bigger bikes than Barbara did. She still has the 125 and the 150. The Dylan is a fantastic scooter.

Hi Neil, I had a succession of Yamahas in the late sixties - seventies. Went from a 3sp 50 step through, CT175 trail, a RT2 360 trailbike, a XS 650 road bike ( cost $1678 new), then a tx750 twin ($1989 new).
Then an assortment of 2nd hand bikes over the next 35t yrs.
A chap I worked with weighed over a 100kg's and Gorden rode his F50 for years to work. It was the best advertisement for Suzuki they could've wished for. That scooter never let him down.
What is the 50cc scooter run? I found the seating comfort level was the biggest problem to riding a small bike anywhere. After 40 mins I was getting a sore butt.
Should find a manual to download on the web somewhere. I found one for my 2008 CBF250F Honda, ( in spanish. ) Cheers, Arthur

Lets star a disscusion on scooters
How many of you have scooters?
What make and model have you got?
What do you like about them?
What don't you like?
How many K's do you travel in a week?
What is the furthest distance you have travelled?
What protective clothing do you wear?
In my case the answers are:
I have a 250cc Honda Forza.
I like to get on the open road with it and enjoy the fresh air.
Only bad weather, ice and snow put me off and at times inconsiderate motorists.
I travel about 100k per week
I regularly travel about 250k in one journey every couple of months.
I wear a full weather proof jacket with protective pads together with 'Draggin' jeans
