Dry the chicken's cavity with paper towels. Insert a whole lemon into the cavity. Rub oil into the surface of the chicken and sprinkle Lemon Pepper liberally on to the skin. Bake as usual. This is a simple way of bringing a new flavour without a lot of extra ingredients and work. What you do with the lemon is up to you.lol

Just a query here, is anyone finding their chickens are left with alot of redness near the bones even tho it has been roasting pass the time limit and baking at the correct oven temperature?? I've kind of given up on buying chickens because of it even the ready- cooked ones in the supermarket. TIA smile

Must be all the additives in chicken. Try an organic chicken some time and see if there is a difference.
