Briefly it's about an Irish girl who gets pregnant, her family marries her off to a farmer and banishes her to a remote part of Irleand. It has been screened on TV a long time ago. What I'm hoping for, is that someone may have recorded it, and has a copy they no longer want or have a DVD or VHS (be a copy or original) for sale.

Hi2u, I'm sorry I don't have a copy of that TV movie, but I remember it well; I really enjoyed it when it screened several years ago, but I can't remember the name! only that the girl ended up happily in the end. Perhaps your best bet might be TradeMe -- or even check the your local DVD store, a lot of them still have older videos for rental or sale.
By the way, sad to hear of the death of Natasha Richardson. She was such an elegant actress; the last thing I saw her in was The White Countess. sad
