Hello grannystitcher, the baby set is just lovely. I also do a lot of crochet work, especially throws and afghans for my grandchildren and family. Its nice to know someone else with the same interest.I have downloaded free patterns from the web. The art of crochet is very big in the States. Maybell.

They are just so beautiful Grannystitcher. It is years since I saw a baby wearing something as lovely. Stretch and grow seems to be the norm today. The pink jacket is a treasure. I had a visit from my almost 21 year old grandaughter who tells me the little dresses I made for her when she was three are still in possession. In the Sallies shop I saw a pair of cushions with lovely crocheted covers. Felt a bit sad as they were probabably made by somebody's granny and not an import in thick clumsy thread. Long may these crafts continue and I hope they come back into favour.

Just been looking at your beautiful work. What a credit to you. You are a very clever girl. Always wanted to learn how to crochet. Started knitting and was never fortunate enough to have someone teach me how to crochet
Have tried in recent years, but feel all fingers and thumbs. Managed coloured squares with spare wool. A few more to go to make a bed cover. About halfway so far. Must hunt them out again.
Wish I was as clever as you. They are truly lovely

I love to crochet. Here are some pictures of the set I made for my new grandaughter. I used 2 ply wool.
