I too have been getting both sorts of emails, but as I have no accounts at either bank I knew it was a scam. Also remember 'BANKS DO NOT SEND EMAILS
'. Please everyone don't click into anything that doesn't look or sound correct...If you get an email that looks in the slightest bit unusual phone the company or bank concerned and double check. The one thing that is a give-away is poor spelling and bad grammar. Remember the bank will never email you with concerns such as is happening in emails at the moment. At SeniorNet a group of us are doing a check on what and how many scams are going through. Don't keep things quiet...tell everyone...The more that know, the less chance of people getting caught out. If it doesn't look right...HIT THE DELETE BUTTON.

Guess everyone is busy, as no posts!!!
What a great weekend it was, Dad really loved the birthday card that helen created for him, we also put lots of photos on a DVD and played that like a slide show on the computer. He wants to take it up and show Mum. It was so nice to see both my sons and one daughter, also the cousins etc. Funny thing happened, Dad blew out his candle on the cake, it was then taken away to be cut, but in the meantime, brother Roger did a speach, it wasn't until one of the older guests was leaving that she said she hadn't got a piece of the cake, whoops it was still sitting there uncut!!

Hamish also went out for a dive and got some fish so that was a bonus. He was determined to go out as it had cost him $75.00 to bring his dive gear on the plane from Auckland. He went home with 4 paua along with fish too, so he was happy. Whats everyone doing for Easter??

ha ha Collette, weather has been too good to be on the computer. Good to hear that your Dad enjoyed his day.
Will have to give the fair a miss Hgee, will check with Carys today and see if she would like an afternoon out, will let you know.
Jen, the jacket has had it's first outing and very nice too.
Off out to a meeting this afternoon, going to be hot in the meeting room eh!
Meant to say Collette, what a lucky escape you had with that damed scammer.

We now have another onorary 'bird in total control herself' Seems there could be a few in on the act which I bought in to hook, line and sinker and it wasn't even April first!!! I can wait . . . Even sent a picture of the said volcanoes to a friend stating just how sorry I was to miss seeing them doing their thing, especailly as the eternal boy wanted them to be bigger. Am still smiling though.
Re the scams, I am ten thousand American dollars better off because of ??? Banks are forever asking me when am I going on line but haven't as I'm not too trusting. Bet the wine tasted good when you celebrated as it would have given you a jolt.
Picked up seeweed today to take to a guy to put in his compost - I mow his lawns so seeweed helps to make a better brew. . . and some for my own bin.
Are you looking like an apple FG? Went and picked a few Grannies on Friday which are most welcome, some making their way to Blenheim for the kids. I think the car can drive itself over, Charlie went for the day on Saturday and I return again tomorrow to take the lad to appointments.
Might drop some more plastic bags in to you Dinki, if only to see you gloat that I've been had - but then you wouldn't really be like that would you? Not half!*+#!
Am quite impressed with my 'goats tit tomatoes'They're putting on quite a show and keep for some time on the vine and in the bowl. HG may put a photo of them up on the site cos she is betterer than me at technological stuff and sculduggery too. ASk to see the red volcano too - soooooimpressive, thanks to photo shop - and I never clicked.

It's not often we can catch Ann out...But yes I got her this time. Photo forgery coming up.
But first the goat tits tomatoes. What a crop Ann has. I was most impressed.

And now for the volcano photos
I told her it was such a shame she couldn't come and miss the show that Jeff was putting on for the garden club.
Here is the show.

And here is the original photos before a bit of photo sopping was done

All jokes aside (well almost) we had a lovely day with the Garden Club at Jeffs. We all bought some plants at the auction and Carys excelled herself and bought 4 lots.

Hi after much thought I have decided to share my story with you all.
On Monday 26/3/12 I got caught with a scam email at my work email address, supposedly from Kiwi Bank. Fortunately Boss came in and he had a scam email from ANZ, so we talked about it and I told him about the Kiwi Bank sending me an email. He told me to quickly log into my bank and change my password. Alas it was too late. "They" had transfered $3000.00 from my credit card account to another of my accounts, then transferred $4800.00 to a Hanna E Clay. I raced down to the bank, as it was only done that morning. The good news is, is that its all back in my bank account now, today!!
Damn me if I didn't get another one yesterday, so I forwarded this onto the lady I had been dealing with. The difference between Simon's one and mine was his showed hu in the email address, being short for Hungary.
It was also interesting to note, that Wendy at the bank said that she had, had a successful business man come in the week before, who had also got caught. Wendy says that the bank does not send emails to clients.
So my friends be aware.
Take care and have a damn good day as I now can!!!
