Just came upon this chat over a long period about magnetic underlays. About 15 months ago I bought the top of the range gold label woollen biomag (over $600) as my husband was terminally ill and I thought it would be helpful to him. He died soon after and I can honestly say I didn't find it was of any help to me - I have a form of lupus/connective tissue disease and heaps of arthritic pains as well as damaged lower back. I have since taken it off the bed and am getting just as good a rest - admittedly I have a very good mattress - as before, if not better. I rang their 0800 number to discuss it and they said they were very busy and would call me back - which they never did.

Just stumbled across this old thread, & reading with interest. Seems like a lot of us have got sucked in. Although I believe it does possibly help some people. Purchased one last year, and neither of us has had any relief really. Too late to send back, as its now well past the warranty time. However I thought I'd better give it a fair go as far as time to work!Actually hubby reckons he doesn't sleep well since we've had it on the bed. Should take it off again without telling him just to see how well he sleeps without it. I've left it on the bed just for somewhere to keep it,lol.
Does make a nice mattress protector - an expensive one though!wink

Loyal, it has been proven and is a scientific fact that the magnets are useless, unless like my husband with his artificial bits, they give shocks! Like your husband I found that even a magnetic bracelet made me feel awful. Is there is any way you can remove the magnets. The wool underlay on its own would be fantastic.lol

I had mine off and on the bed like a yo yo over a period of a few months but decided in the end I was better off without it. Did nothing for my back pain and I just didn't feel 'right' with it on.
