There is also a good free download program called Audacity that I use to transfer music from records and tapes to the computer for burning onto CD. I also use it to record radio programs of my favourite type of music. I then delete the talking, and save as mp3s the music tracks that I want and burn them to CDs as well. This is good as I am able to listen to radio progs. from overseas and save tracks that may not be available in NZ. It does help if you have Broadband though as dialup may not be able to keep up with the streaming of the music and can cause short breaks, although the breaks can be deleted in the Audacity prog.
