Desi & I send you all our greetings and happy birthday anngee We are luckier than most. I live in a earthquake strengthened upstairs apartment block on edge CBD not far from Ocker and apart from loss of water for a few hours we are weathering the 100s of aftershocks which are continuing well. Desis home at Riverlands near Kaiapoi evacuated all last night because of fears Waimakariri River was going to breach banks but it didnt happen. Residents were allowed back in today but Desi is hunkering down with me until further notice.The road into Riverlands is a shambles.Wine o,clock was early again today "to steady the nerves and for medicinal purposes.Loftrfan would understand and Ockfreckle too.? Best wishes.Dr Livingstone & Desi.
Angee, Happy belated birthday, I've not been on for a few days, or maybe a weeks....anyway hope you had a good one. To all of you in Christchurch, hope you are coping and my thoughts go out to you all. Anyone want to do lunch this week or next on the shore?
