A quick note on here to let you know that Trainmad and I are both thinking of you all.
Sivam, my sister who lives near you had some damage to their house, plus crockery and glassware breakages.
Take care everyone in the days ahead.I gather you all are still experiencing after shocks by the mid-day news today.
Thinking of you all. We felt the earthquake on Saturday morning, was sitting on the couch having my cuppa before going to work (I start at 5am!), I felt the couch move, TM thought I was imagining itrolleyeseek
Glad to hear you are ok Celiarose, take care. Must contavt Jordster and see if she is ok.
Hugs everyone.Loveable Nana.xx

Thanks Loveable nana. It is wonderful knowing all our gups friends are showing concern for us. It is appreciated by all our members. As Grannystitcher says we have had quite severe shakes again during the night. There seems to be a feeling of unsettleness amongst a lot of our friends.
It has to stop sometime, the quicker the better.
Graham & i are both fine.

Hi All,
Glad to see most have survived our shake, rattle and roll. I would rather be without it. tim has taken to camp in the lounge to be close to us.
funny the things that fell or went anyway. we have a cannon which is heavy in our lounge, but ended up the other side of the lounge.
glad to see that most cheeryatrics are well and not hurt. things can be replaced, lives cannot....biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

its these after shocks that seem to be getting people down. i do like a little sleep especially at night, but that seems to be the time the shocks start up that quite big...eekeekeek.
they say we are to have these shocks for several weeks, not looking forward to it...rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes
edward is hard at work with the lack of electrcity and the many live wires round town still.
the cat left town on friday night and hasnt come home, have been wondering as there are so many missing cats in the city, maybe they know where there was some place safe and just forgot to tell us...lollollol

He didnt come up until I got up, then he realized it was safe..lollollol
At the rate we are going, we should all be losing weight by all this shake, rock and rollin...rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes
Well what is this night going to bring, a quiet nights sleep, or lookin for a door way to sleep under.
WAIMAK.... my floors have had that since saturday..... BUT MOST OF ALL

MY CAT WONT COME BACK....sadsadsadsadsad

And of course hubby went to the lolly shop and bought some packets of aftershocks lolly packets to give away...rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes
SOME SURE KNOW HOW TO GET TO PEOPLE; have a great night all.

has your cat come back yet, reine?

I heard the spca has got quite a lot of misplaced pets due to the quake so may be it would be good to check there.

NO.... MY CAT WONT COME BACK....rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes
I KNEW SHE DIDNT LIKE ME, BUT TIMS FINDING IT HARD. several things have upset tim and as he cant cope with change very well, it is hard for him....
Tim is still camping inside and I dont think he will be going back out to his flat at all soon.
it took us 3 years to get him moved out there, now I think we are going to have to go through it all again.

Oh reine, what sad news. I was going to send you a private message, but I find you are not on my friends list. You have enough to cope with without extra stress. Take care, I can understand how insecure Tim is feeling, I don't feel all that good myself.
