Hi there, Im in my early 60's now, from 1963 to 68 I played in rock bands in Hamilton. Then in 2001 I saw a Washburn guitar & Ibanez amplifier for sale& bought them.Next thing Im getting real keen, now have 4 effects pedals 2 amps & 4 guitars! Im also back in a band here in Rotorua called Mid Life Crisis or M L C. We have done 13 gigs so far even 2 in Wellington. We are an old school type Rock n Roll Band I do lead & rhythm guitar. Its good fun but a bit hard going when you are so much older. After 4 hours youre Knackered! Cheers Jonesy

Hey thats brill Jonesy. We went to see Spencer Davis group last year n they were still the same, lol:lolsadof course so were we) and just shut the eyes n we were all back there.

Thats neat To be back in a band ...Music where ever we are evokes the memory bank in a big way!!!
Our wee grandies say "Rock On" and thats what we wave every time we leave them, so its still in the genes!!!!
ENJOY!!! Cheers Kai

Hi there Kai,great to get your note. Yep live concerts of big groups or artists are great. One Ill never forget was in 1967 inAuck. Town Hall, The Small Faces and the WHO.Driving up to the show from Hamilton in an 1955 Austin A50, just past Huntly the motor blew up! One of my mates & I hitch hiked back to my place {lucky to get picked in minutes by a father of an ex girlfriend who saw me.] Got my Mk 1 Zephyr convertible and fair flew back to pick the others up got to the hallwith 5 minutes spare! After the show went back to Huntly & towed Austin back to Hamilton. Took motor out next day & found a broken crankshaft. Have seen Little River Band twice, last time about 5 years ago with Creedance Clearwater Revival at Bay park Tauranga. Rock on Dudes & Dudesses!
