Do you know Joybel,my Sons knew about sex before my husband and I could tell them.It seems easier for them to relate to their peers about sex, than it is to their Parents. They have the audacity to look at their Parents as people who dont, shoudnt or cannot have that thing called sex.I learnt at biology classes the ins and outs, but that was only verbal. When children experience the sensations that arise from experimenting, then the hormone battle begins.A Parent can only tell the theory side of it,its when the practicle bit comes in,thats the worry. If a Grown up cannot contain THEIR sexual urges,it must be really hard for the Child.Well it was for me anyway. Many grown ups forget what they went through at that stage of their lives.
And the nasty bugs were ever present then too.

The message on safe sex does not appear to have really penetrated the nubile male and female brains. Oral sex is the the new safe method and who knows where those mouths were last night. Genital herpes is not nice to see on the face or the bottom and can cause babies to be born with defects or even bring on miscarriages.
Some women have the naive idea that when they are finally going steady they can switch to the Pill as they are safe now. How silly can they be. The biggest cause of sterility in women is chlamydia which when left undetected can block the fallopian tubes irreversibly and it is on the increase.
With all the sex education going on in schools who the hell is listening or cares at 12 years and a bit. Are parents really able to discuss the subject with their sons and daughters or too shy. Sexual freedom just opened a Pandoras box of worms and shackles
