I bought one at Spotlight last year, just a little sewing needed to complete.
Maybe a bit early for Spotlight to have their Christmas selection out yet but cant be far away from being in stock as Christmas is only 6 months away...Yikes!

Last year I searched the shops for an Advent calendar. Advent comes from the Latin adventus, which means approach and was traditionally the 24 days before Christmas Day.
Could I find a religious themed calendar? Nope.
So this year I decided I'd start early, look on the Internet, download a calendar which has a Nativity scene and make it up with 25 little doors to open, just like the ones I enjoyed as a child.
I've searched and searched, even on Christian sites but haven't found anything.
Jan Brett has a beautiful one, winter-themed with wolves. Her work is stunning - but it's not what I'm looking for.
So if anyone knows where I can find an Advent Calendar that celebrates the 24 days leading to the birth of Jesus, pleeeeeeas let me know.
Thanks.
