Good Morning Joybel I had pain in the groin for just on two years, I went to the doctor at last and she sent me for an xray, after that it was orthopedic surgeon, and total hip replacement, dont let them tell you all is ok with it, make sure that you are refered to the orthopedic surgeon. Hi Joybel,
I had the same problem, lucky for me I was able to talk it over with my orthopedic surgeon who I visit yearly (due to joint replacements.)Bingo! problem solved My hip was giving out,6 months later I had a total hip replacement . This could quite possibly be the problem you are experiencing.Ask your GP to have your hip exrayed,,all avenues need to be investigated.Good luck.

Yes, I have the pain in groin on and off, and it is my left hip playing up. Was x-rayed about 5 years ago and arthritis showed up, in both hips but more on the left. Waste of time going on the waiting list. Pain is manageable and swimming in the heated pools is great for it. Anti inflammatory tablets help too. Will go see Dr if it starts to get any worse.

Food for thought there, Folk. It is much better and if I take my time it is fine. Do I really want to know if I have a shonky hip though? Time will be the decider I think. Cheers
