G'day Bryan,

Could not agree more mate.

Pleasing to see the public attending as hopefully it'll bring them, and in particular the young ones of today the total devastation in all aspects of warfare that never again shall we have/stop any/all conflict/s of any kind what-so-ever.

Cheers mate. biggrin

I went over to the Mall yesterday to buy a few things as I had not shopped for a week. It was chaotic with cars cruising for a park close to the shops. I was amazed at the crowd and I ended up in the back lot of parks. I only went to Countdown which was the busiest I had ever seen.

It was not until I heard the news about the banks failing to pay in wages to thousands of customers. No wonder the crowds had gathered to buy their Lotto tickets and other necessities. Did someone at the bank forget to press a button ?

It was the same here too Joybel, thought it was the nice day that brought them all out. smile

Did anyone watch that drama on Prime last night about Stephen Hawking?
It was so sad to see his body crumbling and such a magnicifant brain still challenging. He was told he had two years to live in 1963, and now still alive he must be 69. Doing the job that Einstein did in his day. smile

Yes I did gaye-belle
Had seen him on several tv documentries over the years. Seems to have beaten all odds. A brilliant man, who has always had such a positive outlook. I have never heard him talk about his health problems.

He never discussed his health problems with his mates at Uni Melsy, it mentioned it in the film. He seemed to hold all that frustration in, then break down at times wanting to be left alone. neutral

Can anything be done for that disease nowadays? My sister had MS, not a lot could be done for her.

I have to admit that some kind of dreadful malaise has fallen on the threads. Even Squirter has resorted to perking us up with Onions, bananas
and cinnamon.
What has happened to everyone. The Chinese, Dutch and Pacific Islanders do not need their backs scratched with benevolence from the Kiwi Society of Charity. We all have them in our families now and they have done well to put up with so much Kiwi arrogance and abuse down the years. They are our family members, neighbours and working mates. No special favours or treats needed.

Oi Joybel,

""Even Squirter has resorted to perking us up with Onions, bananas
and cinnamon.""

Got a better one in a day or so....I started to pull my horns in over 12 months ago now after having a look at myself, surprising what the mirror reflects.

It's quite sad love really, as this used to be a jolly good site once and there's no reason why it can't be the same again. You don't have to go far to see the problem love as there's the odd few people on here that would love to turn most threads into bloody political crap....christ don't we get enough with the radio, print, TV, and computer.!! without it shoved down out throats on the forum, they got a couple of threads to belt their heads up against a brick wall....bugger-off I say.

Christ nobody smiles on here anymore, so it's off to my music sites where it's more congenial. coolcoolcool anyway I've got to work up a bloody good Aussie hate now as the Blues are playing the Reds. The bigger the hate the more likely the Blues will win, but don't hold your breath.

Hate Hate Hate o'clock.

Cheers love. biggrin

hey Ocker,
I still follow the Doggies, it's in me blood!
Just just like my Mum, who follows the Rabbits.
Still drinks her coffee out of her Rabbitohs mug!
Silvertails, no, no, no mrgreen
