What crap ,There is no such thing as a christian land. The christian god that you praise is complicint in the murder of children if it does not use one of his so called miracles to render the murderer incapable of the crime. This loving and caring god of yours is responsible for all the non-man made tragedy on earth. You seem to have forgotten that it was christians who burned women for being witches mainly in Scotland and Germany. It is christians who always shout that god is on their side as they send young men into battle to be slaughtered. It is priests,Pastors and all forms of clergy including the salvation army who have sexually molested children. So lets not hear any more about christian morals.

CZAR..
JUST REMEMBER THAT IT WAS YOU THAT BROUGHT IT ALL UP...HE DOES MAKE MIRICLES IF IT IS WHAT YOU WANT AND LOVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND SOUL...biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
IT IS NOT HIM THAT MAKES ALL THE TRADGITIES ON EARTH..IF YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO READ THE BIBLE JUST AS ANOTHER BOOK TO SEE WHAT IS AND ISNT TRUE THEN YOU MIGHT FIND THAT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS POPPYCOCK............rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes

GOD GAVE SATAN DOMIAN OVER EARTH, BUT HE SAID THAT HIS PPL WERE HIS, WHY SHOULD GOD RUN ROUND TO PPL WHO TAKE HIS NAME IN VAIN AND DONT REALLY MEAN IT, WHEN THERE ARE PLENTIFUL THAT DO MEAN IT..neutralneutralneutral
GOD IS TAKING OVER THE EARTH AND SATAN WILL NEVER BE ALOUD ON IT AGAIN, HE WILL BE KICKED INTO HELL FOREVER, IT IS YOUR CHOICE WHETHER YOU WANT TO GO WITH HIM OR NOT....
AS I SAID BEFORE READ THE BIBLE AND FIND THE TRUTH ABOUT IT...THAT IS IF YOU ARE NOT TO SCARED TO DO IT..............eekeekeek

Do you mean that Babies take his name in vain and are allowed to burn or starve to death because of it. As for the bible ??/ it is a pornographic book in which murder and slaughter abounds, As was said before your god is one of evil as is praised by the deluded ,Just look at how the deluded are crying out for the cathedral to be saved but not the same outcry over the treatment and murder of babies by their parents and caregivers.

Reine Firstly please don't shout it's not easy reading.

Secondly I do feel sorry for you and all the rest of you lot down there having to endure what you are going through as are the rest of our little community.

As for the $200,00 you mention I'm not sure what you are referring to but I do have a couple of remarks to make regarding Christianity and ChCh. Firstly to those going on about the Cathedral rebuild that money could build a lot of houses and help repair your Hospitals.... Priorities Matter!

If NZ had no Christian or Morality how come people throughout the country donated money to help you all in your time of need.

If there was a Christian God surely he could stop the earthquakes if he wanted to.... so much for a "Loving" God!

If he liked the Cathedral he could have saved it if he liked it... since he didn't then maybe he doesn't like it no more!

That will do for now.
Sorry to upset some but I do wonder at people sometimes.

BTW I do have some thought for those as my brother was one step from being crushed in one of the quakes.

Too right Bryan. A church is often referred to as the house of God. It is just a building for people to meet to thank God or whatever. I can do that by myself, in my back paddock when the grass is green, the air smells fresh and the sun is warm.
I don't actually say "thank you God" for I am unreligeous, but I feel content and happy when surrounded by nature. smile

Though at present not quite, have been pruning and digging out old gooseberry plants and they are objecting by pricking. wink
However thankful that it is a calm though overcast day and can get outside for a while. Coffee break over, time to get back to work. wink

What has religion to do with The Gay Pride exhibition of embarrassment. The movement is sanctioned by law
so they only have to apply some dignity to their lifestyle, and I am sure that most do.

These exhibitionist are possibly the same ones who turn up at protests and Santa parades and any excuse to be seen

.
The Council and John Key in their desperation for votes are going to waste hard to come by cash on this fiasco and that is what I object to as well as the tarts dressed to look like women in fancy dress.

On the radio this morning on work run, heard a neat song for the State of Origin..

It referred to Queensland and every town they went through ,they said was In QLDlol

Went thru the players towns of course,, and there was Christchurch in Qld Palmerston North In NSW etc etc,,

Was so busy concentrating on the traffic,, It was heavy,,

that I didnt hear the title or singer of the song..Have a feeling its a Queenslanderloldone for the game coming up VERY soon..

PS just found it on Utube So sorry dont know how to add it here,,,

Cheers..Kai

Well said Bryan and gaye-belle.

I don't think I ever felt any closer to God or whoever when visiting the Cathedral than I did in our tiny country Church in Scargill - which I am sure Benny visits regularly when visiting his daughter.winkwinkwink

I remember being there one Sunday morning, door open, sunshine flooding in, sheep bleating and I thought it was just idyllic.smilesmile

Ok the Cathedral has charisma - for want of a better word - but St Michael and All Angels beats it hands down in my humble opinion. I get the same feeling in St Johns in Rangiora but that could be the ghosts of all the ancestors floating round.redfaceredfaceredface The are also both wooden Churches.
