I used to go to cubs there back in the early '50s. I wonder what the Police car is doing there.

Maybe they are having a 'meeting the local bobbie day'

I was in Chch on 22nd Feb last year and I've got the photos to prove it. I passed through last November and spent one night there. I was back there on the weekend of 18th Feb, I spent the day going round the cordon on my bike taking pictures. On Sunday 19th I visited my friend Norm Scoles in Station Road. I'll be back again on 2nd May en route to UK.
I prefer my picture of St Mary's because of the Autumnal trees. But you haven't seen that yet, so here it is.

Yes you are right Fruit Buns. The autumn colours make it.
Today we'll look through the round doorway
I just have to show you the photo my Granddaughter sent me of her 2 pets. Crikey the lizard and a little dog called Princess. Just love this photo and it makes me chuckle each time I look at it and see the look on the wee dogs face.
A real cutie HGee. His eyes are nearly popping out of his head!

Must admit I would have the EYES of the dog too,, if the lizard was sitting on my head
I would let it go its way and I would go mine
Lovely though children bring so much down to earth things dont they Pity we have to all get a tad older than that, but can always have the heart of a child for taking note of things that as adults we often pass by...
Love all the pics and Thanks everyone for Sharing
Does the dog look any better with a Photoshop shadow/highlight. It brings out the detail in the eyes and shows that the background was blue.
I was going to put up the oblong window today but I think Autumn is more appropriate. I do like the set of nine.
Yes that has made the eyes clearer Fruit Buns...Nice one. I love your autumn photo and the beautiful reflections.
