I love the chat, but there seem to be amazingly few people who use it. You will sometimes a few instances of people on the page who arrived and found no-one around and so left. It's disappointing to find no-one there. Sometimes people have gone to chat and found it to be an excellent source of help and advice. Some have found much needed sympathy there. Can anyone tell me why Chat is not more widely used?

Giggle, I suspect that it is because they do not know it is there - i found it by chance late last year, also I think another reason is that some people have hang--ups about what others say or comment on what a person says or are doing and a person then just becomes a lurker at times and only speaks 9chats) if the other person not around.

Chat is easily available. But you meet all sorts there and you have to live and let live. Some people need to let off steam. Some people speak very freely about what they are feeling at the time. Some people can be very insensitive. Some need a good moan. But people also go onto chat in a good mood and act as a tonic for people who need cheering up. People find mutual interests, encouragement and fun.
I know that sometimes someone takes offence at what has been said That is their own problem and nobody else's.
We have no right to judge and condemn and we certainly have no call for being childish .Compassion both for those who have given offence and those who have taken it is clearly what is called for.

RECIPE FOR A HAPPY CHATROOM (Lovingly follow these directions)
Take a diverse mixture of ingredients and mix together, but be careful not to overdo the stirring. Be sure that it is kept warm but do not bring to the boil. Do not add Baking Powder, as if the directions are followed it should rise to the occassion perfectly unaided.Serves any number of people .

Angela10-It is not a safe thing for any woman to post her e-mail over the internet where anyone can see it. It is especially hazardous for a young woman, such as a yourself. In any case, I think that you will find that you get very few responses. You have placed identical posts on different threads. This and the content of those identical threads suggests a scam. Please take notice of this and take it to heart. Thank you.
