Hello Stace
A lady called Lianna has written a book with really easy to understand, practical and useful information. I downloaded it for only $33.75 NZD. Its really worth it and will tell you all the information you need to know. Her email address is as follows: lianna@allaboutparkinsons.com
Regards, Ellen

Hello I have recently returned to Tauranga from Wellington and have decided to be my grandmother's carer. She is currently in respite care at a nearby home and was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. We hope to have her home early next year, due to certain processes regarding modifications to her home etc...Sadly I have no experience with this sort of thing (apart from daily visits to the home hospital where I can competently shower, change and feed her) and would appreciate any advice at all, support by way of information, any services out there unknown to me.... anything? I realise this is a huge commitment and have the support of my partner, but we are young and naive and have some family support around us. So please all you experienced carers out there, any advice would be much appreciated... good and bad! Thanks for reading! Leave me a message! xox Stace 'anxious to learn more'
