If you remember the early days of Radio Hauraki, you'll enjoy 'Shoestring Pirates' by Adrian Blackburn. The Radio Heritage Foundation charitable trust has a free copy to give away at their website: www.radioheritage.net. All you have to do is answer a simple question and send an email with your contact details to the email address given. It's 40 years since the pirate ship Tiri sailed out of Auckland to return private radio to NZ...and 'Shoestring Pirates' is full of great tales!
