CoviMore new models and new release launches and increased space with more marquees means next month’s Covi Super Show at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds will be bigger than ever before!

Already New Zealand’s largest annual motorhome, caravan and outdoor expo, the Covi Insurance Motorhome, Caravan & Outdoor SuperShow, will have more of everything. Demand from exhibitors has been so strong that show organisers have officially sold out of exhibition space which is tough on would-be exhibitors who have missed out but is great news for visitors planning to attend the country’s number one motorhome show.

The unprecedented demand for exhibition space means that not only will the massive indoor space be completely full but also the outdoor display area will be significantly bigger than ever before, having almost doubled in size.

Make sure you come visit us at the GrownUps stand, we’re looking forward to seeing you there!

Something for everyone

No matter what you’re after in the motorhome and caravan line, you’re pretty much guaranteed to find it at the Covi SuperShow. As well as all the latest motorhomes and caravans, with many new models being exclusively launched at the show, all the country’s major accessories distributors and retailers are gearing up to showcase the latest innovations that make life on the road a whole lot more enjoyable.

RV & Marine Supplies, Camec, Coast RV, Dometic, Burnsco and RSE are just some of accessory distributions who will be at the show. So if it is a TV, a battery, bike rack, awning, toilet chemicals or that great gadget you did not know you needed, the Covi SuperShow is the best place to find it.

Ellerslie making huge effort for rally

dsc_4412-copyThe Auckland Racing Club is creating a campervan park in the Ellerslie Racecourse infield for visitors to the Covi Supershow. The new site has loads of great benefits; as well as ample parking space in lovely surroundings there’s fantastic availability of bars and restaurants on-site.

The Cuvée room, located on the ground floor of the Ascot Stand, will provide the rally with its own dedicated bar. It’s a gorgeous setting, made even better with the RV Super Centre’s ‘Rally’ happy hour and a good-value carvery meal.

There will be bar facilities each night in Cuvée from 4pm, the carvery will be served from 5.30pm, and free Wi-Fi. The Ellerslie Racecourse Infield will be accessed through Gate 1, located on Ascot Avenue, Remuera.

Ellerslie Racecourse is easy-to-reach, just off the motorway for out of town visitors and will be connected to the Covi SuperShow venue at the ASB Showgrounds – which is just two kilometres away – by a free all-day bus service for rally-goers. There is an on-site dump station, and there’s even an on-site golf driving range – you may not want to leave!

The rally costs $15 per van per night and gates open on Thursday, March 16th at 12pm. There’s tons of room so there is no need to book.

 Pop up Globe on show

dsc_4368-copyVisitors at the Covi Supershow also have the opportunity of making their weekend extra spectacular – by attending a show at ‘pop-up’ Globe Theatre, which is also located in the grounds of Ellerslie Racecourse!
The world’s first full scale temporary working replica of Shakespeare’s theatre, the Globe is popping up for their second season at the racecourse from February 23rd until May 14th. Pop-up Globe’s four new productions Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, bloody war epic ‘Henry V’, psychological thriller ‘Othello’, and brilliant comedy ‘As You Like It’ will be playing throughout the season.

Win a trip to Europe and the UK

Visitors to the Covi SuperShow will once again have the opportunity to win the trip of a lifetime, a four week motorhome holiday in the UK and Europe supported by RV SuperCentre. The prize once again includes return tickets for two to London and then four weeks Just Go motorhome hire in the UK and Europe enabling winners to immerse themselves in the great sights of Europe. It’s an amazing prize that no other show in New Zealand offers, providing just another reason not to miss the show in March.

 Win 10K back

For those wanting to buy a new motorhome or caravan there is a compelling reason to do it at the show. In conjunction with Covi NZMCA Insurance show organisers are again giving $10,000 cash to one lucky visitor who purchases a motorhome or caravan at the show or in the two weeks after the show.

 Not just about motorhomes

p1050144It’s a proven winning formula that makes the Covi SuperShow the best show of its kind in New Zealand. The popular No Reserve Auctions, exploring the Stop & Stay zone and getting to enjoy the cheeky banter of TV chef Derek the Chef cooking up some holiday-friendly meals in a real motorhome kitchen are all extremely popular elements of the show back again for 2017.

Owners of motorhomes and caravans need good information about where to travel which is why the Stop & Stay area is so important and next month it too is going to be bigger than ever, with many more of New Zealand’s regional and district tourism organisations – many of which are part of the NZMCA’s Motorhome Friendly towns scheme – exhibiting.
