Relax at the Strata Lounge

Before your next departure or transit, visit the award-winning Strata Lounge, open from 6:00am until 1:00am, seven days a week. The new Strata Lounge is perfect for relaxing before your international flight. The quiet space is ideal for a delicious meal, a final check of emails and messages or to freshen up in the lounge’s premium facilities. Anyone can visit no matter what airline or class you are flying, we recommend you make a booking prior to your date of departure.

Dine and shop

Over the next 12 months Auckland Airport is opening 27 new food and beverage outlets, offering an outstanding selection of high-quality New Zealand and international dining options, all set in a modern and vibrant dining environment.

Popular New Zealand eateries such as Better Burger, Mexico and Al Brown’s Best Ugly Bagels will open in the international terminal, as well as a range of international eateries including 400 Gradi, an Italian restaurant by Melbourne award-winning chef Johnny Di Francesco, and Tea Garden, an exciting high-tea concept developed especially for Auckland Airport by tea company Dilmah and celebrity chef Simon Gault.

For those who love shopping, the options are growing with the addition of new retail brands, reflecting a mixture of style and price points to suit a range of travellers. Luxury offerings such as Rolex and Omega in a brand new Partridge Jewellers have recently opened with Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Max Mara Weekend and Hugo Boss stores all set to open soon.

Explore our terminal extension

If you’re flying internationally, it’s likely you’ll experience our recently built Pier B extension in the international terminal. Originally built to handle the super-sized A380 and B787 aircraft, Pier B now features a 190-metre extension with two new gate lounges and airbridges – Gates 17 and 18.
