Surprisingly Affordable Quality Care
Set in the beautiful and tranquil Maerim Valley near Chiang Mai in the North of Thailand, Care Resort Chiang Mai is a retirement care facility on 11 acres with mountain views, more than 1,000 trees, gardens, two swimming pools, a spa, a lake and fishponds, the resort is relaxing, quiet and secure.
Accommodation is provided in beautiful villas sited throughout the gardens, each with their own bathroom facilities, air-conditioning and terrace. There are different designs of villas to suit your needs, ranging from one-bedroom studios or two-room villas and disabled-access facilities. Each villa is fully alarmed to the central nurse/care station. We also provide short- stay solutions for those who require short term care due to an illness, accident or just for a vacation.
Nursing and Care
Professional nursing staff and carers are specially trained to give good care and mental stimulation to the elderly, with 24-hour care provided. Our head nurse has just returned from 15 years of elderly care in Australia. Catering for all levels of required care, individuals are given as much independence as their needs allow.
Dementia / Alzheimer’s
Additionally, the resort contains a boutique self-contained dementia/Alzheimer’s facility. Carer support is 24-hours a day, with the carers located in close proximity to each dementia guest. The facility is a luxury provision with only five individual rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The facility has its own lounge/activity area and a dining room.
Activities are an important part of life in Care Resort Chiang Mai and regular shopping, activity and sightseeing excursions are available. You will find that the Thai people, particularly those from the North, are naturally friendly, family-orientated and respectful of the elderly; therefore ideally suited to work in this type of community. You are sure to enjoy their friendly and caring nature.
Chiang Mai has international standard shopping and high class, cost-effective healthcare.
