It’s one of the most tasty meals to prepare – quick, good value and nutritious.
An omelette for one.
What you’ll need…
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp butter/small amount of olive oil
- 1 tbsp of milk
- Optional – Chop up a tomato, mushrooms, peppers, herbs and any other tasty morsels that you enjoy with eggs!
Heat your pan on a medium heat
Beat the 2 eggs and milk together – lightly
Once your pan is hot, add in the Egg/Milk mix
Ensure that you lift the mixture as it begins to cook
Optional – Add any ingredients such as ham, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and any herbs
Continue ensuring that any uncooked egg and ingredients cook
Fold the omelette in half
Turn the element off
Add any other chopped herbs as required and serve.
This dish can be served on toast, with any chutney or sauce and a side salad – please enjoy!
