That record with the big hole in the middle brings back memories Kai. We had a little portable record player, but for some time we only had one record called First Love and we didn’t have the insert to go in the middle, so we used our finger to control the circulation of the record. I can still recall that song in a very fast motion causing much hilarity. 🙂

Joybel I for one enjoy your remarks and while I don’t always agree with you I always enjoy reading them. You carry on with your level headed views and keep posting them!

It was so strange to hear that so slow, when we played it, it sounded like the Chipmunks, Kai.
The very first recording I ever heard was at school in the 50’s, once again only one record per owner, it was called Tutti Frutti – Fats Domino I think. The chorus went “Tutti frutti, I want a rooti.” Well that’s what we thought that was how it went, and oh such rudeness, but once again hilarious. 🙂
