I have about 12 plants in the garden, with up to 5 cobs on each, the silks are just turning brown. I took a peek into one cob & it wasn’t ready the corns were still white. How much longer should I leave these before trying again?
    Must be more patient!!

It is hard to be patient whilst growing sweet corn! I usually wait until the silks on the cob are dark brown and then as my grandmother used to say – you pick and then run to the kitchen, peel and plunge into the pot! Enjoy!
