Well first of all, I think, we think that men think we think about them. All the time. Well maybe not all the time. But most of the time.

    And I think – WRONG!

I think women who drive daily to work and back or pick and drop off kids at school or just generally drive regularly do a lot of thinking.

    I know I do.

I guess my main thinking is around family…..and all those dynamics that make it what it is.

I think about that too – and I think about if I should cook it for everyone because it’s an expectation or should I just prepare what I feel like for me and my mokopuna – like maybe a sandwich or noodles or pasgetti on toast.

..and let the 73 year old and 34 year old kids fix a feed for themselves.

..and a lot of the time I think are they waiting for me to come home from work with dinner….

Imagine if we were programmed like a TV with pressure points in our wrist and we could switch off thinking at will. Once I have a bee in my bonnet I keep coming back to the nagging thought even though I try to switch the thought off. Thinking can really get ones knickers in a twist and the way a negative feeling can cause ones heart to drop or beat faster and you can’t close the door on it can make us despair at time. Apart from taking a sleeping pill to blot out thought we just need to analyse and act on them as they sure as heck aren’t going anywhere. Sweet thoughts and dreams everyone.

One thing I do think a lot about is just how right Maya Angelou was in writing about how phenomenal most of us are…:D

“Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
    They think I’m telling lies.
    I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms
    The span of my hips,
    The stride of my step,
    The curl of my lips.
    I’m a woman
    Phenomenally.
    Phenomenal woman,
    That’s me.” ………….yeahhhhhhhhh!!:D:D:D

…..and then I think about all those long pauses between thinking because our busy lives intervene….then suddenly there’s this beautiful Saturday and I’m thinking…what a beautiful day!..:D

I think that many men still think that woman is the one who have to take care of kids, cook, clean the house. I say NO! We are not a robots and we are not created to do this things. Everything should be balanced so not only women should take care of such things. We are just a people, the same as men are.

    Now is the only reality!
Thinking about the past is a way to prevent repeating the mistakes we have made and to enjoy the peasant memories of our past.
