I now have a Supergold card and like to travel overseas. Does anyone have a good tip on where to find the best travel insurance? I am not a Southern Cross member but note anyone can use them.

I’m looking for travel insurance for America, unfortunately I’m 73 with pre existing medical conditions, I had a stent five years ago
Any recommendations for a company would be very much appreciated
TIA

#1738429chariot December 3, 2019 at 2:16 pmHi Anna. I also have a pre existing condition and last trip went with State Insurance to the US. Unfortunately my next trip next year back to the US, State now does not insure for pre existing conditions. I have have used Cigna which has a discount in the past. However, the older you get the higher the insurance, and pre existing makes it even dearer. My next trip I have found Southern Cross the best deal for me (I am 69) and I am not a member of Southern Cross. Best of Luck, Cheryl

Thanks for getting back to me,unfortunately Cigna or 1Cover who I usually use won’t cover me, I have one quote from TINZ which is very high,i think my age goes against me too I’ve just turned 73
I will give Southern Cross a call and see if I have any luck
Thanks again,
Anna
