Hope you are feeling better SG. And have to agree about the posts on here that do not serve the purpose of brightening ones day. Please folks this is not a political thread nor a place to push obsessions.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Lovely to see you here Cameo and hope you are keeping well.

Beautiful gardens Kai and both so very different. I can just imagine myself sitting in the lovely garden in the first picture and listening to the bees buzzing around the flowers busily collecting pollen to take back to their hives. The formal garden overlooking the pond and lake was gorgeous but what a lot of work trimming all those small shrubs to keep them looking pristine.

Thank you too Gabyone for your comments. I am feeling much better this morning. I woke up to heavy rain just before 6am this morning and immediately the ‘stickiness’ in the air vanished and it just seemed like a lovely fresh morning.

Sir Nigel, the fairies worked their magic! Thank you. Funny isn’t it that no matter how old we get we can still feel a little magic when the fairies appear.

Hope you’re feeling better SG – sorry,I should have realised what would happen the minute I posted on the ‘wrong’ subject. The following isn’t depressing – but is slightly thought provoking, which I think is allowed.

”Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.

Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.

Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.”

Thank you lilith7. I think we can all get kind of wrapped up in the threads and post the wrong thing in the wrong place at times.

Your quote “Believe nothing” is so true as I believe each of us carry our own ‘truth’.

    Have a lovely day.

PS I see the darned gobbledegook is still haunting postings 😥
