I got really proactive yesterday and got another referral from my brother who is a retired dentist who used to look after my teeth.I got a consultation organised with the oral surgeon of choice but it is still three weeks away.Such is life. 😀

Only four more days until first consultation with an oral surgeon……Not sure if I should say yoippee. as a little bit of trauma to endure soon. 😀

It turned out to be a tricky operation for my oral surgeon today .I now have a new set of upper and lower dentures and am resting on pain killers and antibiotics. I am allowed to take them out tomorrow afternoon to begin salt washes etc. My diet is soft and consists of macaroni cheese and creamed rice, tin fruit and lots of icecream  as the wounds heal. The op on roof of mouth feels OK But the lower teeth caused difficulties and stitches.I have another appointment at surgeon on Tuesday and a trip to my Dental Mechanic following. 😀

New teeth, But a bit of pain as wounds  & stitches gums adjust. Soft foods and TLC but a vino or two with my neighbour tonight and one or two watching final of Masterchef eased it a bit.

Still having problems with lower denture.Went to Richmond Club and enjoyed full meal of Lambs Fry &Bacon. on Wednesday  But can,t leave them in fulltime yet Just enjoying Ham Sandwiches for lunch  but standard fare has been Soup Plus.Have been back to my Dental Mechanic several times to ease   problem areas. My perforated roof of mouth has healed remarkably well.
