Be aware, A lot of denture work is now sent to China with dubious results. I myself had a bottom partial and full top done by a local dentist who sent this work to be done in Hong Kong. Bottom plate first and no complains. Top plate later with nmo end of problems. First impressions got lost. The second attempt was so badly fitting they were sent locally fot correction with no better resuls. 9 months later I went to a local denture clinic, all okay.
I went to a dentist first because I want the remaining bottom teeth out for full dentures. She advised me not to have them outand I am pleased I didn’t
A friend got caught out by bt a Chines job and the top front teeth were off center, needless to say he refused payment
AQsk where thet are to be done#1612659drlivingstone April 4, 2017 at 9:18 am

I guess dental technicians work in different ways but when I had the last of my upper teeth extracted, my technician took an impression, then several days later the teeth were extracted, the denture went in and I used it for three months, then back to the technician for adjustment. It has been fine for a couple of years, no adjustment needed.#1616576SquirterMemberMember since: March 18, 2007

And false teeth. Back in 1963 I had a full mouth of teeth out in one go, so after 20 needles, one and a half hours….no teeth. I then went gummy for about 3 months and toward the end of that period I was munching on apples (Golden Delicious, softer) to harden up the gums for the expected falsies. Apart from the extraction I’ve had absolutely no problems either but that honeymoon period ran out in 1998 so off again to the dentist (ex army dentist this time different town)….again absolutely no problems, beautiful set of teeth.
I believe my dear ole father’s advice was spot-on….”when your teeth come out do it in one go boy as you only have to experience pain once, and for the following 3 months eat everything you can that’s hard and you will not have too many problems as your gums will be accustomed to about anything you eat” So aye, the ‘ole goat’ was right again. 😉 😉 😉
