    Biking for fitness is excellent, walking may be fine if you can but I believe it results with worn joints over time. For the many who may shy off a regular bike there are 3 and 4 wheeler ones around that are safe and stable,and similar to driving a car. The speed is dependent on ones muscle power.

    Well Bill043, I’ve always walked everywhere. I’m 80 now and my joints are fine though I get a few aches and pains. My speed’s not bad either on a good day.:lol::lol:
