It’s good that you are a wedding organiser… just what I need I think… Could you please go ahead and arrange a wedding for me… not to big… just a couple of hundred of my most intimate friends but none of my ex wives please… so as to the venue, somewhere in Northland would be good at a lovely beach perhaps… I presume you will do the catering… nothing too fancy but I am partial to truffles and of course bubbly is the only drink to serve isn’t it.
I’ve been a bit busy of late and haven’t prepared very well for this event so I wonder if you would mind finding a bride for me… all my efforts seem to come to nothing… I don’t know, maybe I’m looking in all the wrong places… anyway I’m just about to get the pension so I will be incredibly wealthy and will continue being a philanthropist or am I thinking of a philanderer… oh well either or… getting back to the bride… she should of course be gorgeous… she may not be a virgin, I do understand that… there are hardly any left in Northland anyway… but she should be free to travel as I live in a housebus and she should have a wonderful sense of humour, and have a great imagination… she should be able to bring a fitting dowry even if her clothes don’t… she should enjoy the sun and be able to beat me at scrabble and backgammon… she might play golf and other games with little balls… I’m thinking of table tennis… I do hope to get married soon before I start losing some or even the rest of my facilties… 😀#347081Keits August 12, 2009 at 10:35 am
Wow this is really such a fun thread… it seems a bit like being in a marriage doesn’t it… and your spouse hasn’t got their hearing aid turned on… 😀#347083ChristineMemberMember since: May 22, 2007

I think it is not so much a case of aural dysfunction, but perhaps a case of they are just ignoring your heart rending pleas………Never mind, Keits, hang on in there……Just keep on howling at the moon in the meantime….Wooooooooo, woooooo!!!!!!…Good things take time ??!!#347085KariMemberMember since: May 31, 2007

Lots of couples seem to be renewing their vows these days, and having a repeat “wedding” with cake, flowers and all their friends, usually in a romantic garden, beach, or restaurant. I quite like this idea. But The Spouse says, “what’s the point? Once you’re married, you’re married.”
On a “wedding story” TV programme a few years ago, a little old married lady was asked if she would like to re-do her own wedding vows .
Quick as a flash, she replied: “Why? I haven’t broken any!!” 😉#347087Keits October 9, 2009 at 8:51 pm
The answer to the heading on this topic is No, well nobody is in the least bit interested in it apparently… such a shame, such an important topic… but it appears to be a dead issue… seems like most of you are dead too…
Hellooooooo… is anybody out there?
