Mmmmm… arandar, are you saying that all the MSM are Right Wing? That is an interesting point of view.

Couldn’t find Govtmas in the dictionary Doc. But I believe there is a word “govtmess” mentioned somewhere.
Wonder what sort of govtmess we will get? 🙂

Read Jane Clifton NZ Listener October21st–“Smoke &Mirrors” As the sounds of battle fade, there are some obvious injuries, including to democracy itself…….and Peters campaign she says at times was like a butterscotch -lit Mainland Cheese ad……. and logically voters who stuck with Peters after the Jacinda bomb exploded were of the baked -on-variety…..

Internationally, no mate not realty it’s been a ‘given’ for many decades….but now it’s at a crossroads due to the population pressure and other forms of communication. 😉 😉 😉
Cheers old horse. 😀#1647374drlivingstone October 19, 2017 at 9:05 am
Halcyon, All of Winstons promises may or may not come to fruition eh? From rebuilding Christchurch Cathedral to reimbursing Mangawhai ratepayers for their wastewater scheme Peters espoused such a comprehensive array of causes…….

Doc, the example you offer is evidence of the emotive claptrap espoused by our media and is bereft of sound evidence. It again demonstrates the flaw in arandar’s claim that most of the MSM are Right Wing.
As I often say, those who rely on the media for information can easily be mislead.
And as I have pointed out to Hero, election promises are not “promises” but indications of what the party would like to do given the right conditions.
As we could face another recession in late 2018 it will be interesting to see what a Labour led government will do. I will have much delight in pointing out their “broken promises”. They have indicated they will be fiscally responsible and pay down our debt, yet they have indicated increased government spending. A recession could make these options mutually exclusive. Will that lead to a breach of faith?

Absolutely….and I think the operative word in Arandars post is….’MOST’ MSM, and as such she’d be about right. 😉 😉 😉

If Winston chooses Labour I doubt Bill will be around for long as leader of the National Party.
Principles are all very well but when his colleagues want to stay in power those principles, if they cost National the deal, will cost him his position of leader of the party.
Maybe that is why Bennett was looking so cheerful this morning while Brownlee was looking worried.

“Govtmess” – Love it,the perfect word! 🙄 😎 😀
“I think the operative word in Arandars post is….’MOST’ MSM, and as such she’d be about right.”
I’d be inclined to agree with that Squirter.
As I may have said before I think the present caretaker govt should remain in place & allow negotiations to continue until the start of say,February.
That way we all get a nice peaceful Xmas/NewYear holiday season with no worries about what that lot in the beehive might get up to… 😎 🙄
