Thank you Kuranui – same here, we hadn’t been to the Groynes for at least 50 years. It is still a beautiful place but more ‘ordered’now than how I remember it from way back then.
Fruitbuns- what a beautiful church that is!!! Have you any idea how old it is? The workmanship is stunning, – especially the wooden carvings -the facings [?] on the arches plus the cobblestones & brick paths. What a wonderful heritage. How long would it have taken to build and furnish [some very valuable pieces there, by the look of it], I wonder?#1672227tabs41MemberMember since: August 24, 2010

Although the site has been a place of Christian worship for a long time it looks as if the building only dates back a mere couple of centuries. The whole day’s photos are here.
Starting with Aphroditie’s Rock, Kourion, and the village of Omodos where the monastery is located, and finishing with wine tasting.#1676182FruitBuns April 16, 2018 at 12:45 am
Nobody seems to be posting. So here is another picture from Cyprus.

Perhaps you would like another puzzle. Where do you think this photograph was taken? 😉
