    that is amazing FruitBuns….well done. Not batten down the hatches again, more rain and chills tomorrow so not ideal for photos.

    Certainly lovely the Akaroa pics, You must have great concentration FB and steady hand,

    to do 18,, to make that fantastic panorama

    Kai I cannot recall seeing a picture of that lighthouse from that angle before. Nice picture.

    On a technical note, my hand was not very steady, I was holding the camera about a metre above my head on a monopod and firing the shutter with a cable release. I thought there might be vegetation in the way and I could get above it. The great concentration has come from stitching the pictures together in Photoshop Elements. I’ve spent two days trying to make it work and so far have only managed two of the four that I took.

    Very attractive patterns and colour on these rocks, FruitBuns! It’s years since I was over at Akaroa. I always loved it over there.

    yes fruitBuns, the rocks are interesting. Personally I love the lines that an ebbing tide creates in the sand at many beaches. Took several pics recently here at Sumner Beach, particularly with a story of footprints…..

    Yesterday I went to Akaroa Harbour again to try taking a 360º panorama from the top of Onawe Pa. This one is made up from 18 pictures. Akaroa 360 Pano 3 sm
