Mommabear70, as you say other threads can be opened. Can I respectfully suggest that you and Jens open one of your own so that you can scratch each others back?

What???  New threads for Jens to jump on.  I don’t think so.  If whoever you’re talking about pushed the same barrow for what I believe 10 years, I think they’d be told to cease and desist too.

Kaipoiken, huiatahi, perhaps the issue of the freedoms of members is more complex and complicated that I originally thought.
It seems some members have very little freedom. Somehow Grownups Admin force some members to not only read every post but are forced to comment on every post too.
Thank you Admin that I’m not one of the members forced to comment on every post.

    Yes thank you supergold.

Those we remember on ANZAC Day fought for our freedoms, too many of them paid with their lives. Thanks to their sacrifices we live in a free society. We’re free to go where we please, free to gather with others, enjoy freedom of speech and freedom of association.

Yet this ANZAC Day the Police have told us we’re not free to gather with our local communities because they can’t protect us. They blame the government imposed heightened security threat. The government says it’s up to Police to sort this out.
The Police have caused cancellation of two thirds of Auckland ANZAC Day gatherings to date.

For something completely different I read where Lego has developed braille bricks and is supplying them for free in several learning institutions.

As there doesn’t seem to be any limit to the number of new threads that can be opened, how about those doing the most moaning remember their place as non-paying members with equal rights to jens, just open some.

I seem to remember you telling someone to do some research(?) Now I suggest YOU do some and see how many new threads have been started for that very reason and work out how long it takes Jens to start up in it!

Look back! Where as you been a member for 2 years some in here have put up with him for 10!

Bryan, I think you’ll find I don’t tell members what to do. So if you want to quote me as saying something then you should find the post and reference to it.

I have no interest in doing searches I have no interest in.

On the basis some members have been, as you say, ‘having to put up with jens for ten years’, it follows that some members have had to put up with you for ten years also.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2019/04/anzac-day-2019-muslim-communities-volunteer-at-dawn-services.html

“Muslim communities across New Zealand will be volunteering at Dawn Services Thursday morning.

Ahmadi Muslims Youth Association helps to organise remembrance parades every year. President Azeem Zafarullah told Newshub it’s even more significant after the Christchurch terror attack.

“It’s important that we show the public that we’re here to represent our country, we are loyal citizens.”

The association has been helping to organise remembrance parades for a number of years, and Zafarullah says “giving back” is a core teaching for Muslims.”

I find it astonishing that some of you complain about Jens yet constantly egg him on, he only annoys you when you read his posts. Are some of you drawn irresistably to his spin?

What is difficult is when you see someone has posted (don’t know who at that stage) so you open it only to find it’s jens again, on about the same old same old
