Great photography Keith and so pleased to have you aboard. Hope we see some more of your photos??? 🙂
Thanks Kai – a beautiful photo – a beautiful beach. We are so fortunate in that all the great scenery we have here is so accessible – less than a days trip from mountains to the sea.July 17, 2017 at 9:34 pm #1631597
Christchurch High Street — an article from 2014.
Colourful Plastic Sheep on High Street -September 25, 2014
High Street has been invaded by a flock of very colourful striped plastic sheep. It’s a nice bit of whimsy to an area that is still struggling and needs its share of revitalisation. There are new developments around here that have taken off (like Stranges Lane) but it’s still quite empty and a bit barren.
Stranges Lane -August 2014 -is a new entertainment / dining precinct in High Street. It’s rather exciting to see something new like this open in Christchurch. It’s a lane-way with several restaurants coming off it and areas within the lane for people to sit and dine.

More severe weather, travel disruptions expected in South Island – July 17 2017
Winter storms are expected to return to the South Island this week, bringing heavy rain, gales, floods, more travel trouble and up to half a metre of snow in the high country.
One of the last Inter-islander ferries heading towards Picton last Wednesday before high winds and swells cancelled further sailings.
