1. Riding On Water
Your eyes do not deceive you and this is not photoshopped! Robbie Maddison is a professional motorbike stunt rider. However, he brought his dream of doing his two passions, surfing and motorbiking, together.
This stunt, in particular, took 2 years of preparation. However, what you can’t see are the skis below the bike, which made it easier for Maddison to glide across the water. Without those skis, this guy would probably just fall into the water.
2. The Headless Gymnast
Here we see Venezuelan gymnast, Katherine Coronel, performing during her eurythmics gymnastics routine. One acrobatic aspect she truly demonstrates is flexibility. The photographer was able to snap pictures in mid-trick, making the gymnast look headless.
3. Parallel Player
This picture was snapped of Dennis Rodman as he went perfectly parallel to the floor diving for a loose ball. This was during a game in 1997, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. At this point, the Chicago Bulls were an unstoppable force.
4. A Rider’s Reflection
This is definitely a picture for the record books. The picture looks like a man and his twin are wakeboarding side by side. However, it is actually only one man. The water is so crystal clear that it is acting as a mirror. Talk about cool.
The man is so close to the surface of the water it creates an optical illusion. He certainly has a lot of strength and talent to pull off that move. In the sport of water skiing you definitely won’t see this done every single day.
6. Seismic Punch
Fighter Lucian Bute, in 2011, successfully defended his IBF super-middleweight title against Glen Johnson. However, unlike what the picture may lead you to believe it was decided over judge decision and not a knockout.
However, this picture must be some sort of scientific breakthrough. How could someone’s skin create such waves, it’s absolutely incredible! We sure hope that this guy was okay after taking a punch like that.
5. Dad Saves The Day
Many children’s hero are their fathers, especially this little boy. Shaun Cunningham took his son Landon to a pre-season baseball game, as an early birthday present. They were expecting a fun, accident free game and because of this dad’s slick moves that’s what they got.
The Pittsburgh Pirates were playing the Atlanta Brave, when Danny Ortiz lost his grip on the bat while swinging. The bat flew into the stands. Luckily, Shaun had great reaction time and saved the day (and his son)! This could have ended very bad.#1735261supergoldMemberMember since: May 9, 2009

7. Tennis Ball Galaxy
Due to the fibers and the spin of the ball, the liquid coming off of it looks like a galaxy, the milky way galaxy even. The little droplets can be compared to stars and planets and the tennis ball to the sun. Truly this is an amazing picture.
8. Amazing Acrobatics
These 3 ladies are competing in the acrobatic gymnastics world competition in 2010. The amount of training these women must do has to be super exhausting. The girl on the bottom has to have enough strength to hold two women.
The girl in the middle has to have not only strength but also extreme flexibility. Finally, the girl on top requires so much core strength and balance. This definitely something that we don’t recommend doing if you aren’t properly trained.
9. The “Thank God Ledge”
Alex Honnold is one of the best rock climbers in the world. Here we see him reenacting one of the hardest climbs he or anyone else has ever attempted. Talk about one heck of journey up a mountain. Hardly anyone else is going to be able to pull this off.
Without the help of a rope, Honnold climbed 2,500 feet to the “Thank God Ledge,” in Yosemite National Park. The ledge is perfectly named, as Honnold was probably thanking god when he made it to that ledge.
10. Surfing a 100 Foot Wave
Look closely, in that 100 foot wave, there is a man surfing. In 2013, pro-surfer Garret McNamara broke the world record for riding the largest wave. He was given this opportunity in Nazare, Portugal. Along with this amazing feat, Garret has also ridden a tsunami from calving glaciers in Alaska.
11. The Woman With Many Arms
With dancing, one has to be so perfectly in tune with his or her own body as well as his or her fellow dancers, especially if they want to look perfect and professional. This is a great example of just that. Look at all the effort that is being put right there.
These dancers are portraying the story of The Origin Of Thousand Hands And Scroll Holding Guan Yin. Because the dancers are so in sync they are able to create an amazing optical illusion of a woman having multiple arms.
12. A New Olympic Ring
This photo certainly makes you do a double-take. If you glance quickly at the picture, you may have thought that a 6th ring had been added to the Olympic symbol. Don’t let your eyes deceive you, there is no sixth ring in this picture.
However, this full moon happened to be in the perfect spot for a photographer to capture. The picture was taken on the London Bridge during the 2012 Olympics. We hope that this guy sold the picture to a magazine and got some good money from it.
13. Living Life On The Edge
The picture shows base jumping partners Matt Blank and Ian Flanders. Not during this jump, but unfortunately, in 2015, Ian Flanders died after a parachute accident in Turkey. The whole world was saddened, but especially his partner Matt.
Matt Blank made a tribute to his partner’s legacy with a video. The video included this photo. The two were literally living life on the edge together. Truly they made some amazing memories together. That said, you should think twice before taking such a risk
14. Ice Skating Strength
Russian figure skating pair Fiona Zaldua and Dmitry Sukhanov are showing off their amazing talents during an Ice show in 2012. While performing in Shanghai, the pair presented this trick. If your thinking this is extreme, believe me, it is.
The trick shows that both Dmitry and Fiona have a lot of core strength, as well as, a lot of trust in each other. We can only imagine how much practice it took to nail this trick. Hopefully, they didn’t mess up too many times during practice.
