    So we are going to add another $10 billion of RONS over the next 10years.
    We have just revised the ETS so I guess the outcome of that will not be to reduce the amount of road traffic in NZ so i wonder how we are going to meet our reduction in Green house gas that we are committed to?
    I wonder where in the next 10 year budget they have made allowances for the purchase of Carbon Credits and what are the likely cost escalation of those in that period?

    That is the solution used by National to avoid doing what is actually required.

    Nice of them to spend your tax payer dollars rather than take real action don’t you think?

    Cheers 🙂

    Might be climate change. Might be weather.

    Might be the ocean. Might be the interstate.

    Might be something we should ignore. Or not.

    The 41 million people affected by extreme monsoon weather this year can’t ignore it.

    and we all know with 100% certainty that this years “extreme monsoon weather” was caused by NZ not paying enough in stupid carbon credits – yawn!

    The connection isn’t the paying of carbon credits but the man made global warming.

    I am glad you can see that doesn’t work and we need to take more direct action

    More comes to light;

    Global Warming, An Inconvenient Lie, will be broadcast free on the Internet all day, Monday through Friday, Sept. 4–8.

    Wake up to the con job – no i have not seen it yet but this helps to see the drift;

    President Trump is receiving strong support to reject the UN Climate Accord, but the carbon-tax and government-control crowd is pushing hard to criminalize any opposition to their plans. An Inconvenient Lie has arrived just in time to tip the scale on this issue. If seen by enough people, public awareness can stop them in their tracks. This is not just about learning the truth, but of building a movement. Without that, nothing will change.
