Hi Tulipa. Nice to see you! Did anyone mention a pacemaker to control your irregular heart beats? If not, perhaps it’s not bad enough as yet to warrant one. I hope you can stop thinking of this development as a death sentence because many in the same situation have lived on for a long time. The emotions are affected by the heart condition though so I know it’s easier said than done.
Here is a little run down on self care with your heart condition. It stresses regular weighing nd watching other symptoms related to congestion in the lungs, which is what congestive heart failure is connected to. https://www.cardiosmart.org/Healthwise/abk2/128/abk2128
This is the main page of the site below and on the right side of each page there are links to a video and stories from various heart failure patients. https://www.cardiosmart.org/News-and-Events/2015/10/Heart-Forum-Webinar-Managing-Heart-Failure
I hope the articles can help you feel more positive even in a small way. It’s still good if you can get personal moral support from the places mentioned by yourself and others though.
Wishing you all the best…
I love all GUppies

Thanks Bobbity. I appreciate the links you sent me and I will definitely have a look at them. I will hopefully find out soon just what this diagnosis means for me. I am hoping that my doctor will suggest a visit to the cardio again so that I can find out just what is causing these irregular heartbeats that cause so much anxiety. Maybe he will suggest a pacemaker.
