Thank you Greta for picking me up, that was so lovely of you and I enjoyed my time with you all and meeting ones I hadn’t before…. sorry I didn’t manage to have a longer chat with you Clare and do hope your mum is a bit more settled …such a hard time for you.
It was lovely to meet you Pat ( Sneezy) and Barry & Wanda. Have a lovely weekend everyone.
I have a wedding to attend on Friday and am pleased to see the weather is expected to be a bit cooler. 🙂

Hello everyone, I am so sorry I couldn’t come yesterday and see you all. I had a meeting which was important. I am very busy househunting. Never done it on my own before and it’s a lot harder than I thought. Away in the morning to stay a few days with my brother/wife in Bowral which is between Sydney and Canberra. It is a special birthday for my sister-inlaw and it will be good to catch up with their daughters and their families. I haven’t been there for some years and my brother/wife have moved to a retirement complex which will be interesting to see. Will definately try to get to the next Frugal Friday or maybe a coffee morning.Keep smiling – Ann

My education goes on and on. My neighbour at dinner/ lunch was Nossib, penny drops after reading the page. My friend Dorothy (who was already looking after friend Joan after a hysterectomy) is now also looking after a lady called Diane who was having a cataract operation. I call it “Dorothy’s convalescent home”.
I don’t need to get out much to keep up with the play do I?
In other words, choose your friends wisely! It’s almost as important as choosing your eateries wisely. Keep laughing friends 😀 😀

Thank you, Kai. We have been in lock down, the poor nurses couldn’t leave. They work so hard that another shift would be hard. Our Friday Happy Hour and pizza night has been postponed, we weren’t in happy mode. What a terrible thing to happen.

Ann, I was useless at house-hunting, everything I looked at I thought would do. Just wanted to have a home. I was a real estate agent’s dream client.

A very sad day here in Christchurch yesterday. Our thoughts are with families who have lost loved ones in this terrible attack.

The  whole country is reeling after yesterday’s attack Innocent people killed or injured simply because  they happened to be there at the time, doing what they always do at that time. Heartfelt love and  deepest prayers for all who have been affected by this dreadful happening.

Feeling a bit shattered today as was in lock down in Ballantynes yesreday for about 4 hours. Janice was with me. Ballanynes were wonderful to verbody offering sears a tv and ea and coffee on request. They had even got to thinking about feeding us all for dinner but were saved by the lockdown being removed. It tool us nearly 2 hours to get home via Merivale to Halswell. M lucky as my family are on the plane due to arrive shortly from Rotorua. I will be pleased when they land.
So sad for all the people who have been hurt or lost their love ones.
Hnobody would ever had though our little country would experience such a tragic happening.
