Oh desi, you were getting so creative, but just left one ingredient out. They sounded lovely what you were making. Try again next week. Did you have a receipe in front of you, or were the receipes in your head.

I reckon you can’t go past the good old meat and 3 vegies. Have a good day. 😎😎😎🐈🐈🐈🥔🥕🥦🌽.cheers 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

Thank you, Kai, yes it is a sad day and it brings back memories of the Doc. He arrived home after a hip operation an hour before the quake struck. No power, no water, no working toilet for 10 days, the lift was out of action and he couldn’t manage the stairs. Just as well he was discharged in the morning.
The last 12 months have been traumatic and I don’t know how I would have coped without the support of our GUPS group. We are so fortunate. I do hope that you will make it back to Christchurch at some time, we would love to welcome you to a coffee morning.
    Cheers, Desi.

God Bless you Desi, ah yes we all here too miss your beloved Doc everyday.

Tragedies always bring up the importance of faith and the need to really look after those dearest to oneself, be they relatives, friends or neighbours, because we’ll all be needing all of them at some stage in life’s journeys.

I’m still sticking close to home. Right shoulder won’t need the operation after all, pain has almost gone. Polymyalgia still has a kick at the odd muscle but what the heck. We’re all here for the long haul. I have an appointment at Burwood on 1st April for the left ankle, but I’m loth to get a replacement if the X-ray shows improvement. Life’s interesting eh?
Have a lovely trip to Golden Bay, Bunnyhop. You’ll pass a letterbox at Pakawau with my brother Bill’s name on it he’s up the hill looking down on the bay. Say “hi” they’re sociable people 😀

Audrey and I had a spare bit of time today so we popped out to see Dyna for an hour or so.
she made us a cup of tea and we had a good chat. She was looking good but can only walk a few steps without her walker.
