The scammer is still in action. Beware. Posing as someone from IMF”international money fund” and using one of our members photos but not their correct name.#1684311gypsyspiritMemberMember since: November 26, 2007

Hi all, Am I right in thinking there has been a list put out of morning teas and also is there a mid-winter dinner coming up. Probably what Bunnyhop was talking about at Riverview but I misunderstood and thought it was the normal frugal Friday. Would be interested to hear more. We enjoyed catching up last week. Thanks to those who are doing the organising at the moment. I look in here now and again so try and keep up with what is happening.
Cheers all. Hope you are keeping warm and steering clear of the bugs.#1684367nossib1MemberMember since: June 24, 2017

Thank you bunny hop for the list and I’m looking forward to resuming my aquaintance with you all on June 29th at the Plough Hotel, thanks to Sher picking me up.
I see Sher that your name is down for the Mid Winter Christmas lunch on July 13th and if you’re happy to take me with you, that would be lovely also. I’m happy to share the cost of fuel 🙂
Because I am trapped by having to have compression hosiery applied every day with Nurse Maude, not usually possible for me to make the morning teas, unless in Rangiora or Kaiapoi but can I be reminded please as to what times you meet up for these.
Lovely to see the sun out today, makes such a difference, doesn’t it. 🙂#1684380bunnyhopMemberMember since: January 21, 2010

Hi jordster. Lovely to hear from you on the thread today. Yes the sun was shining here in Christchurch. Yeppee. Still cold though. If you look on page 1636 on the thread you’ll see all about the cafes and frugal Friday’s cafes, including the mid year Xmas at the garden hotel. Hope you and Laurie will be able to come if the dates suits you. Keep warm. Cheers Greta. ??#1684385jordsterMemberMember since: November 5, 2009

Thanks Greta, Silly me I should have looked back a page. Sorry about that. We are going to a show at the Issac theatre on the 14th so will come in on the Friday and join you for lunch and stay at the Garden hotel that night. Hopefully the weather will be nice to us.#1684428gypsyspiritMemberMember since: November 26, 2007

Bunnyhops…..one possible venue some time could be the lovely cafe at The Tannery ( cafe the end of the cinema, its big enough)…there is ample parking and the menu & prices reasonable. Just a suggestion.
