Each word must begin & end with the same letter.. starting with A – [e.g. aura] then B – then C progressing through the alphabet. 4 letters or more.
No proper nouns. One word per person at a time.
No set number of words for each letter – we just keep going until we dry up ..be it 10 words or 30.
In addition to ordinary words let’s try to find as many different words as we can.
Dictionaries can be consulted to find new & unusual words.
    =============================================================================
    Four+ words -…… A=43, B=17, C=60
    Ten+ words – ……
    ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
    D – (10 letter words ONLY)

dumbfounded, disjointed, demoralised, demolished, deadlocked, dessicated, determined, distinguished, designated, disillusioned, decompressed, devastated, discombobulated, debilitated, differentiated, diminished, deadheaded, decomposed, deadpanned, defoliated, discharged, denigrated, dispatched, daydreamed, dry-cleaned, deflowered, destructed, deodorised, displeased, desecrated, disclaimed, dehydrated,

Hi Fern,  we have 33 words up to now- how about we make 40 words the cut off point [if you agree to the cut off point we’ll do away with word count], then, when we start ‘E”, we set a number as I think the ‘e’s will go on forever as well.  But if you prefer to carry on until we dry up it’s OK with me – I just thought you may have been getting a bit bored with it.

I’m absolutely fine with that Val. Good luck with setting a number for the ‘e’s. 😀 😀
Just by the way, your word ‘deregistered’ has a few too many letters. 🙂 🙂

Where deemed necessary, starting from a minimum of 4,  a designated number of letters in each word MAY be required…..and/or
a required number of words MAY be designated for each new letter.\….or…
some letters may be designated as ‘OPEN word length’ ….and/or…. ‘OPEN  number of words’.

Hi Fern, subject to your approval  – I just adjusted the rules to gel with the change we have made to the number of words to be found.

No proper nouns. One word per person at a time.

Word length and the number of words may be set as:

    a) OPEN format..i.e. no restrictions on word count or number of letters per word apart from the proviso that all words contain 4 or more letters
    b) …when deemed necessary a limit may be set for the number of letters per word…and/or…
c)….a target set for the total number of words to be found.
