Don’t you ever wonder what these things are really like and how much they cost. I thought we could get together and talk to each other without going through the rigmarole of giving all our details to a call centre. I am, for instance, looking at the powerfit gym, because I have arthritis and cannot do much in the way of exercise and I am just getting fatter. I rang to ask the price and they hung up on me. Anyone out there know how mush they change for the equipment and all the FREE stuff that comes with it? I want to compare it to the Vibroslim they sell on the shopping channel.

Cost me  nearly $1000.  Works well if you use it carefully but I had someone babysit my house while away who had bought one too but it jiggered his arthritic knees totally. Mine was to shift the bulk because I hate going for walks. Also I put my elbows-to-hands on it to shift shoulder/arm fat and it threw my backbone out of alignment and it cost me a trip to the chiropractor.

The free stuff is likely included in the horrendous price you pay in the first place.

Hello cshell. This was a very old post as you can see by the date. I did in fact buy a vibrating machine from a site called grab one for 149.00. I do not lose any weight on it but it does losen up my joints so I jump on and have a shake most days. Makes me feel like I have had a massage. No way was I going to pay that amount of money. Informercials you are paying for the advertising. Believe me I have seen the cheques. Don’t do it.

I really like the look of the multi purpose ladder which also has platforms- I be keen to know if you can get them from normal retailers?

I was going to buy one when it was at the show in Hastings .

Changed my mind and saw them at Mitre 10 .

Went to Bunnings and saw one that is pretty much the same for a third of the price.

Bought  that one  .Been using it ever since.
