A Kiwi Year
Twelve months in the life of New Zealand’s Kids.
Meet Charlie, Ruby, Oliver, Mason and Kaia — Kiwi kids representing a multicultural blend of culture and race that typifies this amazing country. They’ll take you through a year in the life of New Zealand’s kids.
A Kiwi Year is a picture book of which many Kiwis contributed, so it’s bursting with national pride. It’s a snapshot of who New Zealanders are as a nation, blending modern-day culture and lifestyle with past traditions and native heritage. Its pages feature meandering text, dates and gorgeous illustrations showcasing five Kiwi kids at play, at school, at home, and enjoying the sights and sites of this great nation.
Happiness is Easy to Find if You Just Know Where to Look!
In this fun-filled picture book about mindfulness, Ollie follows his grandma’s treasure map on a quest for happiness.
Ollie’s Treasure is a tale of mindfulness for young, developing minds. It’s a story about how simply noticing and taking in what is on offer to our senses can lead to the Holy Grail of treasure — happiness. Ollie’s Treasure takes children on a treasure hunt. Ollie’s grandma sends him a treasure map that promises to lead him to ‘something that will make him happy always.’ Of course, Ollie thinks this ‘something’ will be a toy of some sort, but he gets both a rude shock and a big surprise when his treasure turns out to be him!
