EMU RUN TOURS REPORT- one-day trip Alice Springs to Uluru
A WARNING: If you need a disabled bus DO NOT travel with this company. The bus does not kneel, the armrests cannot be moved and the climb aboard is steep. At 6am pickup the driver took off without letting all passengers get seated. I got severely injured by the armrest jammed in my crotch! The front seats were being used for blankets and equipment and not available to me or a man in a full leg plaster.
Apart from this the tour was excellent , the guides very well informed ockers and the food good.

Now an example of the complete opposite:

ADELAIDE SIGHTSEEING tour company is deserving of the HIGHEST PRAISE. The booking agent saw my w/stick, rang to confirm the bus on the Victor Harbour tour next day could kneel and offered to reserve a front seat for me. Great customer relations. Very comfortable.

by nandi 20th October 2007 We have just returned from a trip to Adelaide and Alice Springs/Uluru/Kings Canyon. I agree Adelaide Sightseeing were absolutely marvellous and we did Uluru etc with APTouring and they were great. I am visually impaired and our guide/driver looked after me so well. We cannot praise them enough. Great trip indeed.

by curleyh 13th March 2008 I back packed with a couple of my daughters thru Greece and spent a month around Turkey and the Greek Islands.Fabulous fun but be aware of those Turkies. Lots of friendly smiles, hospitable welcomes to their homes but they are up to all the tricks we Kiwis havent even thought of. I got robbed by two women who graciously accosted me. Took my wallet, cleaned it out and returned it to my pocket without me even knowing or a thankyou. No use going to the cops . So be warned
